Gateway Sourcing, a professional staffing company, is helping our client hire a Senior IT Analyst.

 

Location: The position will be located in North Mobile, AL.

 

Position:

The Senior IT Analyst implements reliable solutions to support and maintain the integrity of the existing infrastructure and to strengthen the reliability, efficiency, and performance of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business requirements and recommend technologies to enhance availability, reliability, scalability, and security while driving down total cost
  • Participate in the design, testing, evaluation, implementation, and support for multiple complex platforms (hardware, operating systems, software, systems tools, and IT processes)
  • Ensure conformity of platforms/systems to established enterprise/industry standards and reference models
  • Consult with business units company-wide to configure platforms for product installation
  • Collaborate with IT peers across the global enterprise to form a global virtual team and to achieve common objectives
  • Coordinate activities with internal technology owners/service providers
  • Document enterprise processes and procedures
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for IT Support, as needed, for escalated support issues

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science field plus three (3) years of applicable experience in a medium to large enterprise in the design/administration/support of one or more platforms

  • Advanced troubleshooting ability
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of SCCM 2016, task sequences, supporting mechanisms, and client-side Windows operating systems
  • Deep knowledge of application packaging methods and ability to perform packaging of complex applications
  • Intermediate skill in scripting languages of PowerShell, VBScript, and AutoIT
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy, Microsoft BitLocker, Microsoft UEV vs. Roaming profiles, network analyzer tools, and Windows performance monitoring tools
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, deliver quality work on time, and proactively monitor and control task status to anticipate and address potential barriers

 

Desirable:

  • CompTIA certification (A+, Server+, Security+, Project+)
  • Microsoft certification (MOS 2016, MCSA, MCSE)
  • AXELOS certification (ITIL v3 Foundation)
  • Experience administering Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016/Online
  • Experience administering Microsoft Lync 2013/Skype for Business 2015/Online
  • Experience administering SharePoint 2013/2016/Online
  • Experience administering Office 365
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry

 

Travel:  Negligible
