Executive Bios:

 

Shannon  Spinks, President of Gateway Sourcing, has been in the recruiting and staffing field for nearly 20 years.  A native of Mississippi, she attended the University of Mississippi receiving a Bachelor's degree in Finance.  Ms. Spinks has received numerous awards during her professional career for exceeding annual performance plans as they relate to placements as well as client satisfaction.

 

Ms. Spinks' industries of expertise include technology and health care staffing.  She has supported various industries such as health care, retail, technology, software, telecommunications, energy and banking.  Her clients have included Fortune 100 companies such as Neiman Marcus, Mary Kay, Countrywide, Bear Stearns, Atmos Energy, and Verizon as well as smaller start-up and middle market businesses.

 

Ms. Spinks also serves on the board of Southern Methodist University's Computer Science and Engineering Industry Advisory Board and is a member of the Technical Recruiters Network.

Carlton Spinks, Ms. Spinks' husband and business partner, grew up in Texas receiving his undergraduate degree from St. Mary's University and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.  

 

Mr. Spinks' has a solid background in marketing serving senior management and executive positions with Citigroup financial services, CitiCapital, CitiMortgage, Smith Barney, Primerica Financial Services, Citicorp Trust Bank, McCann Erickson Sports Marketing, and several non-profit organizations.  Mr. Spinks brings a functional knowledge of traditional marketing, advertising, event planning, market research, competitive intelligence, strategic planning, finance, product development and management.
